Rainbow Community Care Achieves Back-to-Back Honors as a Top Workplaces 2026 Award Winner
JEFFERSON – For the second consecutive year, Rainbow Community Care is pleased to announce its organization has been honored with a prestigious Southeastern Wisconsin 2026 Top Workplaces Award by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The 2026 award reaffirms Rainbow’s standing as a premier employer in the regional healthcare and non-profit sectors.
"Earning a Top Workplaces Award again is a powerful validation of our culture at Rainbow, especially as a local, independent non-profit," said Carol Brown, RN, Rainbow Community Care President & CEO. "Our ability to serve rural Dodge and Jefferson counties and surrounding areas so effectively for many years has only been possible because of the dedication of our amazing team.
Winners on the Top Workplaces list are determined based exclusively on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner, Energage, LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures the employee experience and various themes, including feelings of respect and support, leadership effectiveness, opportunities for growth/development, empowerment to take initiative, and the sense of connection staff feel towards the organization’s mission.
“Consistency is everything in our line of work, and seeing our team validate our workplace culture for a second consecutive year is incredibly rewarding,” Brown said. “The fact that 107 of our 132 staff members took the time to share their feedback through this survey proves our mission-driven culture remains as strong as ever. Knowing that our staff continues to feel supported and valued is incredibly humbling, and I am deeply thankful for their commitment to our patients and to one another."
Top Workplaces celebrate companies and organizations across three categories: small, mid-size, and large, employing as few as 50 to over 500 individuals, that foster positive work cultures and prioritize employee engagement.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That's something to be proud of. In today's market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
