Rainbow Partners with DockHounds for "HoundsCare" Fundraising Event

Rainbow Community Care is teaming up with the Lake Country DockHounds for a fun-filled community fundraiser on Sunday, July 19, at the DockHounds Ballpark in Oconomowoc.

The event will feature the DockHounds' "Howl-Ween at the Ballpark" theme, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the movie Scream. Community members are invited to enjoy a thrilling afternoon of baseball as the DockHounds take on the Winnipeg Goldeyes, all while supporting the mission of Rainbow Community Care.

This event is part of the "HoundsCare" fundraising program, presented by Jersey Mike’s of Oconomowoc, which partners with local nonprofits to raise vital funds while bringing the community together for a day at the ballpark.

"We are thrilled to partner with the DockHounds for this year’s HoundsCare event," said Emy Miller, Rainbow Community Care Events Manager. "It’s a wonderful opportunity for us to step out into the community and connect with our supporters in a high-energy, fun setting. We hope to see a great turnout, as every ticket sold directly impacts our ability to provide essential care and support to families throughout our service area."

For every ticket purchased through the official HoundsCare ticket portal link https://bit.ly/Rainbowdock, $8 will be donated to Rainbow Community Care. Proceeds will support the organization’s efforts to provide compassionate hospice, palliative care, supportive care, grief support, and community programs throughout the region.

· Gates Open: 12:05 p.m.

· First Pitch: 1:05 p.m.

Families, friends, neighbors, and community groups are encouraged to attend. Special group rewards are available for larger ticket purchases. The larger the group, the greater the rewards:

· 50+ tickets: Each attendee receives a DockHounds hat.

· 100+ tickets: Each attendee receives a hot dog.

· 200+ tickets: Each attendee receives a draft beer or fountain drink.
