Rainbow Raises Over $70,000 at Annual Golf Outing
CAMBRIDGE, WI – Thanks to overwhelming community support, Rainbow Community Care’s annual golf outing raised over $70,000 on July 16 at Lake Ripley Country Club in Cambridge. These vital funds will directly support the organization’s mission of providing hospice, palliative, and guided care to the loved ones in your community, as well as Rainbow’s We Honor Veterans program, which provides meaningful recognition and vital support for veterans in their care.
More than 130 golfers from local businesses and organizations joined forces with over 50 sponsors and 150 donors to make the 25th annual event an extraordinary success. The day featured a full round of golf, lunch and supper buffet as well as raffles, and silent and live auctions. For the third year in a row, Rainbow also ran a 12-day online auction leading up to the event, allowing supporters to participate by bidding on a variety of prizes. This year’s success highlights the community’s strong commitment to supporting Rainbow Community Care’s services. All were united by a common goal: to provide dignity and comfort for loved ones in their final stages of life.
"The incredible generosity of our community is truly humbling," said Carol Brown, President/CEO of Rainbow Community Care. "Every dollar raised allows us to continue providing compassionate end-of-life care, and a significant portion will go directly to our veterans program, helping us honor those who have served our country."
Key sponsors for the event included CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) as the Tournament Sponsor, PremierBank and Fort HealthCare as gold sponsors, and Ready Electric, Inc. as the golf cart sponsor. Contributing as platinum sponsors were Horizon Manufacturing Group, LLC, Badger Bank, Maas Brothers Construction, Carriage Healthcare Companies, Watertown Regional Medical Center, AdvaCare Systems, Nestle Purina, Jones Dairy Farm, First Citizens State Bank, First Weber – Lori Jensen, The Old Rock, USI Insurance Services, Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic, Decommissioned Servers, and Carol’s Uff Da Crew.
Rainbow Community Care extends its deep gratitude to all the golfers, sponsors, donors, and volunteers who made the event an overwhelming success.
