We would like to thank the eight volunteers from Doosan Bobcat of Johnson Creek, that stopped by the Rainbow Hospice Care Inpatient Center (IPC) on Tuesday, September 20th as part of their Doosan Days of community service and giving back to communities where employees live and work.
They did a great job weeding, trimming trees, and working on landscaping outside the IPC grounds to make sure everything looks great for our patients and families.
"I had family that used hospice in the past, so it means something special to me," said Dennis Bair. "It's really great when you pull up to a place and your family members are here for their last days, that you're coming into a nice-looking facility and it makes you feel good about where they are at. I'm excited that Doosan gives its employees a chance to come out and participate in this type of event."
"We're very appreciative of the service that Rainbow Hospice provides to our community, " said Abby Hintz. "I think that's a very special thing and not a lot of people can do that. So to make this a beautiful facility for everybody staying and working here, it means a lot to us and is very special and we appreciate being able to be a part of the volunteering services."
We also had another Rainbow Hospice Care volunteer and our two volunteer coordinators, Jill Radke and Lisa Handrow that were outside working hard too! Their hard work is greatly appreciated, and we hope Doosan Bobcat will come visit us again!
