Eaton Volunteers Return to IPC to Help With Landscaping

The Eaton Corporation in Watertown first started volunteering at the Rainbow Hospice Care Inpatient Center (IPC) last year. They returned with two groups last Thursday and Friday, to do some landscaping on the grounds of the IPC.

“It’s nice to be able to come out and help out where we’re needed, especially on a gorgeous day,” said Michelle Bainbridge.

“I love doing it,” said Angie Fairall. “It’s nice feeling to help people out. It’s close to my heart.”

For a lot of the Eaton volunteers who were out at the IPC, many of them have known somebody in hospice care or someone that has worked at the IPC, and it’s a great opportunity for them to give back.

“I really enjoy it,” said Amy Erdmann. “It means a lot to us. We enjoy going out and helping out our community when we can. We want to give back.”

They’ve also done other volunteer work around the IPC in the past, including cleaning, washing windows, and making cards.

As we move full steam into summer, their hard work is greatly appreciated and keeps the IPC looking great! Thank you for all your time and come visit us again!
